Flagstaff, Arizona, skiers can once again delay putting their skis in their garages for the off-season.

In a Facebook post earlier this morning, Arizona Snowbowl announced that they are "stoked to announce that [they]’ve extended the 23/24 winter season! After receiving 281 inches of snowfall so far this ski season, conditions are better than ever for spring skiing and we will now be open on weekends through Memorial Day." See below.

Snowbowl is one of eleven ski resorts that remains open in the United States, so it presents a solid option for skiers in the southwest looking to get some last turns in.

Snowbowl has announced their decision to remain open both days this weekend (this Saturday and Sunday) as well as Memorial Day weekend (Friday - Monday) for the final laps of the 23/24 winter season.

The resort clarified that the operating lifts will include the Hart Prairie Chairlift and the Arizona Gondola from 10am to 4pm, weather permitting.

Next weekend, only the Arizona Gondola will spin from 10am to 4pm, weather permitting, offering access to advanced terrain only.

Snowbowl will also be open for Scenic Gondola Rides & Sunset Gondola Rides during Memorial Day weekend. Scenic Gondola Rides will be offered Friday through Monday and Sunset Gondola Rides will be offered on Friday and Saturday.

Lift tickets are available for $19 through the rest of the season. Even if there is not a massive amount of terrain open, for under $20, it's still lift-accessed skiing, and that isn't easy to find in mid-May!
