MLB best bets, 3 HR props for 7/7: Time for a little Muncy Magic

The holiday week is almost behind us, but we still have time to target some plus-money bets to carry us into the weekend. So, let's try to hit one with my three favorite home run props for Friday's MLB slate.

Luis Robert (+425 DraftKings)

St. Louis Cardinals starter Jordan Montgomery has been successful at keeping the ball in the yard of late. The lefty has given up just two home runs in his last seven starts, but it won't be easy to keep that streak going against Luis Robert. Robert has hit the fourth-most homers in MLB this season (25), and he leads the league with eight over the last 15 days. The center fielder is hitting .343 with six home runs against lefties this year, so this is all a perfect recipe for another long ball.

Christian Walker (+420 FanDuel)

Christian Walker has been the best home run hitter for the Arizona Diamondbacks all season. The 32-year-old leads the team in home runs with 18, and he also leads the team in homers off left-handed pitching with six. Walker has gone yard twice in his last three games, and he gets a decent matchup against lefty Rich Hill Friday. I'll take a chance on the +420 here.

Max Muncy (+340 FD)

Max Muncy tends to hit his home runs in bunches, and he may be starting a bunch right now. After going 14 straight games without a homer, Muncy has now gone yard twice in his last four games. The 32-year-old has hit 15 of his 20 home runs this year off right-handed pitching, and righty Griffin Canning has allowed five home runs in his last five starts.
