The Florida State depth chart would be unrecognizable if you compared it to the Seminoles' first game of the season when they started their 13-0 run by taking down LSU in Orlando. Players have opted out, had their seasons ended prematurely, and have entered the transfer portal.

Starting quarterback Tate Rodemaker opted to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal ahead of Florida State's Orange Bowl matchup against No. 6 Georgia, leaving true freshman quarterback Brock Glenn under center. Glenn made his first start in the ACC Title Game just weeks ago and now will make his second start in Miami.

Florida State offensive coordinator Alex Atkins met with the media to discuss the upcoming matchup and Glenn's progression in his first year.

"Usually, there is an acclimation period where you have to teach a guy how to play the position," Atkins said. "You have to kinda learn how to put the extra time in."

Glenn is a former four-star recruit out of Lausanne Collegiate School, and Atkins said that he took his preparation seriously.

"He came from a good high school program, middle Tennessee, so he really took the preparation aspect early, so he got here in the spring, and he enrolled early, so he was here with Jordan [Travis], he was here with Tate [Rodemaker], and he kinda learned that preparation process."

Glenn suffered an injury during the season, which sidelined him, and he currently has 90 passing yards along with a rushing touchdown.

"He had a little setback during the season with an arm injury. Even when he wasn't taking reps, he was still taking mental reps," Atkins continued. "What I loved is that he always challenged our quarterback coach [Tony Tokarz]. Every time we would be sitting there as an offensive staff Brock would come knock on the door because he wanted to start since day one."

Glenn and the Seminoles will have a chance to continue their perfect season when they face Georgia on December 30 at 4:00 p.m. The game is set to be broadcast on ESPN.
